Mosavadi Parish
Kolappaler is the mother Parish of Mosavadi, the affords of Fr. Joha Antheast and of Fr. A. T. Thomas culminated in the erection of the Chapel at Mosavadi and the Higher Elementary School. During the tenure of Fr. V. P. Antony samy exactly on 30-11-73, Mosavadi was separated from Kolappalur and was made into a Parish The first Parish Priest was Fr. P. J. Thomas. After him Fr. V. P. Antonysamy took charge of the Parish and is doing his best for this new and small Parish with a total population of 700. The substation is eight in number, The Legionaries are giving a helping hand in the Parish activities Mosadi Catholics were originally converted by V. Rev. Fr. S. David (later bishop of Vellore) when he was the Parish Priest of Chettupattu.
